A rare visitor to the UK.
Accepted records (1)[]
- 1812: Chelsea (Middx), one (believed to be an adult male) shot on the banks of the Thames near Chelsea (Birds of Middlesex, Harting 1866)
Unacceptable records[]
- 1812: one purchased from a London poulterer in May 1812. There was no proof that this bird was killed in the London Area but it is interesting to compare the date to the above record.
