- 1864: Southgate (Middx), immature male and female shot in November (Birds of Middlesex, Glegg 1935)
Unacceptable records[]
- 1850: Harrow-on-the-Hill, a male shot on January 21st (Birds of Middlesex, Harting 1866). This was accepted by Harting but later deemed unacceptable by G. P. Catley & D. Hursthouse (British Birds 78 482-505).
